Living in the Southern US, summer time means that my makeup is never going to look flawless. It’s important, at least to me, to look like I put a lot of effort into my makeup, even when I usually end up putting on the bare minimum. By the end of the day, if I’ve been out and about in the Alabama humidity, my foundation is going to be a sweaty mess, and my eye makeup will probably end up everywhere other than on my eyes. However, a good, eye catching lipstick draws all the attention away from whatever makeup malfunctions I might be experiencing, so a bright lipstick is an absolute staple of my summer makeup.
